Is it possible to persuade someone to do things they wouldn’t ever have dreamt of? Do we know what reasons make us do what we do?

This is exactly the question a programme from the BBC, The People Watchers, tries to answer.

Let’s watch the beginning of the first episode:

Task: Take notes of what goes on in the clip and then answer the following questions:

2) What is the purpose of the programme?

In the video you will see three of the experiments they carried out. Identify:
